BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
Eduardo Usunoff was born in Argentina in 1953, where he graduated in Geological Sciences [1979]. He then went to the USA to receive M.Sc. [1984] and Ph.D. [1988] degrees in Hydrology at the Department of Hydrology and Water Resources (University of Arizona at Tucson) under the invaluable guidance of Dr. Stanley N. Davis.
Back to his native country, he was appointed Director of the Instituto de Hidrología de Llanuras, and settled down in Azul City, Buenos Aires Province. There he and his wife Liliana are raising their four children: Guillermina (Argentine, 16), Pablo (American, 13), Diego (American, 10), and Eduardo (Spaniard, 6).
He is mostly interested in hydrochemical studies, although he has explored several hydrology-related fields. He has authored or coauthored several articles, which make him feel sometimes proud and sometimes puzzled.
